The Seedling School provides is a very different experience from other preschools, day care centers, or public transitional kindergarten programs. We are a thriving school community, not simply day care.

We are located on the campus of Foothill Country Day School, with access to beautiful facilities such as the Betty Webb Library, science labs, art studio, and more. We have the best of both worlds: and warm and cozy preschool with the resources of a much larger school.
The Seedling School is fully licensed by the State of California as a child care facility, we are accredited by National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and we will be joining Foothill's current accreditation by WASC in the next year. These organizations ensure that the care and education your child receives is top quality, delivered by highly qualified teachers.
Our daily experiences are truly multi-cultural, and great value is placed on learning about and respecting other faiths and cultures.

The Transitional Kindergarten program (TK) is an all-day program, unlike the public school half-day program.
A chef provides nutritionally balanced, hot lunches for the children each day, included in tuition.
Our students attend specialty classes taught by highly qualified Foothill teachers: art, science, physical education, and music.
Seedling students visit the Library each week, listen to stories, and check out books.
We have an extensive after school Enrichment Class program in addition to day care. No need to leave work in order for your child to attend karate, soccer, gymnastics, cooking and more!
