Teachers and Staff

Hands-down the most qualified, and most caring preschool teachers in the Inland Empire.

The Seedling School is very proud of its teachers. We employ teachers and assistants who are passionate about a career working with children at the preschool level; are energetic, nurturing and creative; and have strong backgrounds in early childhood education.

The State of California requires that preschool teachers have a minimum of 12 college units in early childhood education or child development and a minimum of six months experience working in a licensed center. All of our teachers meet or exceed this state requirement.

Our teachers all have their bachelor’s degrees or advanced degrees, as well as a minimum of three years' experience in a preschool setting.

Additionally, all staff members are fingerprinted and pass a criminal background check prior to hiring.  Every staff member is certified in pediatric first aid and CPR, and regularly participates in professional development along with all Foothill Country Day School teachers.

Support Team
The preschool teaching team is supported by 3 on-campus administrative staff members, including Director Hytosha Hodges-McDaniels. As part of Foothill Country Day School, we also enjoy the services of a full-time school nurse, chef and maintenance crew, and the leadership of Foothill's Board of Trustees and Senior Administration.
