Family Matters

Seedling is a community for parents too!

We know that we are partners with you, as we work together to guide your child through some of the most important foundational years of their life. Your involvement in our school sends a message to the your child that their education is important and it sets the stage for a lifetime love of learning. 

We welcome parents to the Seedling campus at frequent special events such as International Day and Teddy Bear Picnic, and especially at Community Meetings where we ask parents to read books and share their careers and their cultures with all our students. 

In addition, Seedling parents are included as part of the Betty Webb Organization, Foothill's parent group. Parents also join Foothill's parent community as they work on fundraising through the Spring Gala and the yearly Foothill Fund campaign. We invite you to immerse yourself in the life of our school and look for opportunities to volunteer as your schedule permits. It is a great way to meet new friends with similar interests! 

Even the best parents can use a little boost sometimes, and we want to be there for you. In addition to our daily interactions as you drop off and pick up your child, we welcome Seedling parents to Foothill's parent education events, and we invite you to check in for preschool-specific topics in our ParentEd blog.
