How to Apply

Step 1: Apply Online

  Once the application is complete, please return to the online portal to review additional application requirements.

Step 2: Teacher Recommendation 

• In the application portal, enter your child's current academic teacher's full name and email address. The teacher will automatically receive the recommendation form.

Step 3: Transcripts 

• Download the Transcript Release Form from the application portal and submit it to your school's Registrar. 

Step 4: Virtual Assessment

• Each student will complete an online STAR Renaissance assessment for reading, math, and an additional writing prompt. You may register for a date and time through the application portal.

Step 5: Student Visit

• Students are invited to participate in a morning at Foothill! They will connect with a current student, take part in an academic morning, and experience life at Foothill. You may register for a date and time through the application portal.

Step 6: Parent Interview

• We look forward to learning more about you and your family! Parents may select a time through the application portal to virtually meet with a member of the Admission team.  Parent Interviews last approximately 20 minutes.    

Step 6: Financial Assistance (optional)

• If you plan to apply for financial assistance, complete Foothill’s financial assistance application, Clarity, to be considered for need-based assistance. Please submit all materials by February 7, 2025.                                                  

Step 7: Decision Making 

• You will receive an email from the Office of Admission on Friday, March 14, 2025 with the Admission decision! The contract and deposit are due on Monday, March 21, 2025 by 3:00 p.m. Please contact us if you have any additional questions.
