Welcome to Foothill Country Day School's picturesque 7 acre campus in the heart of Claremont, where education is valued from ABCs to PhDs. In the summer, we open our campus and share our faculty with the public, offering leadership programs from preschool through grade 8. Each week has a fun theme woven into learning and special projects. Choose half-day or a full-day option with lunch included! Preschool -- The Seedling School at Foothill Country Day School will be offering a STEAM-based summer program from June 15 - August 7 .

Kindergarten -- Kinder Ready
A fun head start, just for incoming Kinders! This program is a half-day from 8:30a.m. - Noon.
Grades 1 - 5 -- Falcon Summer Scholars
Half Day program centered around academic readiness in math, reading and writing. Afternoon care is available.
Grades 1 - 5 -- Leadership for Life
Half or full-day options available. In a traditional day camp experience centered on all the wonderful things about California. Check out the weekly themes below! Open to first through fifth graders in the fall.
Grades 6 - 8 -- Welcome to Middle School
In this half-day program, you can expand your interests, catch up and get ahead in Math, English, STEM, Humanities, and Sports. Open to students entering grades 6-8 in the fall.
Grades 4 - 9 -- Behind the Curtains: Summer Scene Fest
Step into the spotlight—or behind it!—with Summer Theatre Makers, a dynamic 6‑week camp designed to give young performers a well‑rounded, hands‑on journey through the entire world of theatre. Whether campers love acting, singing, dancing, designing, building, or managing the magic backstage, this program offers a little bit of everything. 9:00a.m. 2:00p.m. with lunch included.
Grades 5 - 8 -- Summer Debate Week at FCDS
Held for just one week, June 22 - June 27,! students can build a strong foundation in critical thinking, confidence, and public speaking by learning the art of debate. FCDS has an award-winning debate program and this camp us taught by experienced debaters and coaches. Learn more here.

KINDER READY
Kindergarten is a big step, and we want your child to take it with confidence, leading the way! Students will learn about their new classroom, discover Foothill routines, explore our beautiful campus during the relaxed summer days, meet faculty, and make new friends. This is a half day program from 8:30a.m. to 12:00a.m. The morning will mirror the typical kindergarten schedule with a morning meeting, story, academic activity, snack/recess, activity, etc.
There is an option to add the afternoon until 3:00p.m. if your child would enjoy a full day experience. KinderReady is open to all incoming Kindergarten students in fall 2025.

Join us to build the skills and mindset of a leader in this traditional summer day camp setting. Leadership starts now! Open to all incoming first through fifth grade students. Students will be divided by grade levels. Half-day (8:30a.m. - 12:00p.m.) and Full-day (8:30a.m.- 3:00p.m.) options are available. Lunch is included with the full day choice.

FALCON SUMMER SCHOLARS
Foothill Summer Scholars is a lively, half‑day adventure in learning! Students jump into hands‑on activities that build confidence in reading, writing, and math while keeping their brains active and curious. Through games, creative challenges, and guided practice, scholars will revisit last year’s key concepts and get a sneak peek at exciting new ideas waiting for them in the fall.
This dynamic program is organized by grade level, ensuring every student learns, grows, and has fun at just the right pace. COME JOIN THE FUN!
Welcome to Middle School is a fun and engaging program for all incoming 6th through 8th graders. Students will get a little bit of everything, science, math, language arts, creative writing, humanities, Spanish, and so much more. Students will attend 3-4 classes daily and will repeat that schedule for the week. Each class is approximately 40 minutes.
All classes and offering are taught by Foothill faculty and staff.

Open to students in grades 4-9. Step into the spotlight—or behind it! With a supportive, fun-filled environment and instruction tailored by age group, Behind the Curtains is the perfect place for rising 4th–9th graders to explore, collaborate, and create unforgettable theatre moments. Ready… set… take the stage!

FEES
Fees vary due to the 4th of July holiday, your choice of before and after care options, and additional specialty camps you may add. Please refer to the Active Registration portal for exact prices.
In general, weekly costs are:
Half-Day (8:30a.m. - 12:00p.m.) $275
Full-Day (8:30a.m. - 3:00p.m.) including lunch: $550
Before care can be added for an additional $100 per week.
After care can be added for an additional $160 per week for those choosing a full-day camp.

*Please note: in order to effectively staff our programs, we can are unable to offer refunds after May 16.
TIPS FOR AN EASY REGISTRATION PROCESS
Please be sure to register for the grade your child will be entering in the 2026-2027 school year.

Start by looking for the Week/Theme you would like. Once you click on that, you will see the various programs offered during that week.
Before and after care can be added via "Session Options" from each session. In other words, choose your session (example: "Week 1 Leadership for Life Full-Day", scroll down on that page, and you will see an option to add before or after care for an additional $50/week) before you put that in your cart.
