BWO Board

The Betty Webb Organization

  • The Betty Webb Organization (BWO) is our parents’ organization through which parents volunteer their time at Foothill Country Day School to connect, collaborate, and contribute. Named in honor of the spirit and legacy of Betty Webb, wife of founder Howell Webb, all Foothill parents are members of the BWO by virtue of being the parents of a currently enrolled Foothill student. All parents are invited to attend BWO meetings and activities.

The BWO Council leads the Betty Webb Organization and is an active partner with the School in organizing school-wide events, providing a forum to discuss issues of importance to parents, and helping support the School’s fundraising activities. The BWO Council organizes monthly meetings as well as special events, from casual morning coffees to social and educational evening events.

Parents volunteer their time and talents generously at Foothill, especially in helping us with important annual events such as Fall Family Night, Field Day, Spring Benefit, parent education speakers, and community service activities—making the BWO integral to the community spirit and enthusiasm that permeates Foothill Country Day School. Given the range of our parents’ work and family commitments, there are a variety of opportunities available throughout the school year.
