Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition

Tuition for the 2017-2018 academic year is $19,400 for kindergarten through eighth grade. The total cost of tuition and fees will vary by grade. Included in fees are costs for text books, field trips, daily snacks, and a corporate membership fee for each Foothill family.

Different payment plans are available to families through FACTS. All Foothill families are required to create an on-line account with FACTS in order to process the payment of tuition and fees.

Financial Aid

Foothill Country Day School seeks to enroll students with strong academic potential and intellectual curiosity - students who will bring to our school a wide variety of talents, skills, and interests. We understand that a Foothill education is a significant investment; as such, we are committed to helping make Foothill a viable option for students whose personal character and intellectual curiosity reflect the mission of our school.

New and returning Foothill families who seek financial assistance are required to submit an application annually. At Foothill, the financial aid application process is thoughtful, thorough and, most importantly, confidential. The admissions committee reviews all applications for admission without regard to any financial assistance applications submitted by prospective families.

Foothill Country Day School partners with School and Student Services (SSS) by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). The Parent Financial Statement, located on the SSS website, must be completed by all families who seek financial assistance. The SSS system uses a variety of factors to determine a family’s projected contribution toward tuition costs might be. Foothill, in turn, uses the information from that site, along with a family’s most recent tax returns as verification, to create a potential financial aid package.
