Supporting Foothill

Why Give?

Like all independent schools, Foothill Country Day School relies on a combination of tuition revenues, endowment funds, and private support from parents, grandparents, alumni families, as well as corporations and foundations, to meet both annual operating expenses and strategic institutional needs.

Your annual gift is a tax-deductible opportunity to show your support for Foothill Country Day School and help us bridge the gap between tuition income and expenses. All contributions are used for operating costs and programs that make our School distinctive. Every year, we ask our entire School community, from the Board of Trustees to parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, and staff to join together in financially supporting the mission and vision of the School.

All gifts to Foothill help advance the education of all of students, from Kindergarten through 8th grade, as we prepare them for success and citizenship in high school, college, and beyond.

How Does my Gift make a Difference?

Annual gifts can be spent as they come in and are directed to wherever the needs are the greatest, creating opportunities for learning and discovery, allowing Foothill to take advantage of emerging opportunities and respond to unanticipated needs and challenges. When parents, grandparents, alumni families, and friends create a culture of philanthropy to support Foothill, it sends a strong message to the entire school community as well as prospective families, other donors, and corporations and foundations.
