Foothill Country Day School is located in Claremont, California, known as the “City of Trees and PhDs.” The picturesque community of Claremont is about 32 miles east of Los Angeles, nestled at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. It is home to eight institutions of higher learning, including the Claremont Colleges.

The Foothill Country Day School campus covers more than 7 acres, filled with trees, grass, and koi ponds. It includes a gym, auditorium, 2 science labs, technology lab and library, music room, art studio, swimming pool, and 26 classrooms. The Seedling School, founded by Foothill Country Day School, is also on the campus and includes 5 classrooms, playgrounds, and gardens.

Visitors are asked to check in at the main office, which is located off the Harrison entrance to the school.

FCDS is easily accessible, between the 210 and 10 freeways to the north and south, and the 57 and 15 freeways to the west and east.

From the 210 East: Take the 210 freeway, exit Towne. Proceed south on Towne past Foothill Blvd. Turn left on Harrison and enter the school on the left.

From the 10 East: Take the 10 freeway, exit Towne. Proceed north on Towne past Bonita Ave. Turn right on Harrison and enter the school on the left.
